This month, we are making no secret about our cause for major celebration at CRRG, Inc… That reason is the fact that we are celebrating a MAJOR MILESTONE in our company history with CRRG’s 26th Anniversary! That’s right, Rebecca Schmitt brought the company to life over a quarter century ago and is still leading the industry with satisfied clients and impeccable customer service standards. Join us as we take a few moments today and share some of the long-held values, stories and history behind CRRG, Inc.

From the beginning, CRRG was born in a spirit of humility as Rebecca spent the early days walking courthouses herself, actively seeking any work she could find. At the time, she had moved in with her brother and was able to focus 100% on her document search & retrieval work – a true one-woman show! Early on, she realized that she was setting herself apart from the competition by offering her clients TRANSPARENCY and TIMELINESS. They felt genuine care for their work and Rebecca’s wonderful, big heart is still the pulse of CRRG, Inc. today!

Eventually, Rebecca gained enough work and had to expand by hiring her first team member. She wasn’t looking for just a “body in a chair” but rather someone whom she could consider a friend, someone with the same heart to deliver high quality work within efficient timelines. Even today she will tell you that her hiring strategy is to value the HEART of a person over their skills. This fabulous team of people truly consider each other friends and are willing to do whatever it takes to make the company successful. CRRG, Inc. nurtures a workplace which is relaxed and one that feels as if you are surrounded by friends – and our clients feel the same way!

In the end, the main message on this exciting Anniversary is one of GRATITUDE! Gratitude for the clients and team who have stood by CRRG, Inc. over the last 26 amazing years! Mortgage Interest Rates Keep Long-Term Upward Trend

Good News! Mortgage rates have been rising at a pace not seen in almost 50 years!

Mortgage rates continue their upward march, extending the most prolonged increase in rates in 46 years.

According to the latest data released Thursday by Freddie Mac, the 30-year fixed-rate average climbed to 4.66 percent with an average 0.4 point. (Points are fees paid to a lender equal to 1 percent of the loan amount.) It was 4.61 percent a week ago and 3.95 percent a year ago.*

GOING THE EXTRA MILE

As a company, we understand how fortunate we are to serve so many loyal clients. Most know the owner on a first name basis and would agree that CRRG treats their clients warmly and personally, as friends would do. This is at the heart of CRRG’s philosophy on Customer Service – to treat our clients as friends and help in any way possible. Of course, we can lean on other deliverables such as timeliness, accuracy, and fair fees but those are more or less expected. We aim higher and want you to know what it means for CRRG to go the extra mile!

We succeed based on a strong foundation, one that extends to every department and every team member in the company. What gives us a strong foundation? Each team member begins as a field researcher to best understand what the client needs and the challenges along the way. This allows us to specialize in servicing title companies, banks, attorneys, etc. Even our accountants are prepared to serve at the front line and we strongly believe this has been key to our success and to our spectacular customer service standards.

We will go into more detail in future newsletters on the topic of Turnaround Time (TAT) because it is a critical part of our success. Because the documents we handle are binding, legal documents there is usually an urgent timeline driving the search. We push industry norms by delivering TAT’s from 2 hours to less than 24 hours for searches in Metro D/FW and Houston. Searches in any other state (including Guam and Puerto Rico!) will typically be fulfilled in 48 hours! That’s FAST and we’re not afraid to say it. We can boast more researchers in more counties than other companies and will deliver your documents quickly, each and every time!

And lastly, we aim to provide more than just your document. We will also provide help and guidance along the way during your search. We have been doing this for quite a long time and our staff has built solid relationships in every single Texas county so we know a thing or two about navigating the document research universe. For example, we would assist you with making sure you are searching in the correct county, or making sure your search is thorough – going back 100, even 200 years to seek your document!

The bottom line is our culture THRIVES on “Going the Extra Mile” and that is why clients large and small have been turning to CRRG for over 26 years.
